The ‘Where are my flowers?’ scene is literally so iconic, cause like: 

• Arthur trying to subtly indicate that he knows about “Merlin’s crush on Morgana” 

• “Mucking out the stables is strange but a talking bird isn’t?” is quite literally one of the funniest things Merlin has ever said in his whole life 

• “Merlin, what have we said about you trying to be funny?” “I shouldn’t.” 

• “Where are my flowers? I heard Morgana got some” and then indicating that he wants a token of Merlin’s affections like yikes be more obvious please 

• Merlin spluttering suddenly because he doesn’t want Arthur to think he has a crush on Morgana
